::My Funny for the Week::
I don't know if you guys remember me posting a pic of a group of half nekkid Asian guys, that looked...how can I put this in a nice way? Fuck it, I called them Fruity Pebbles when I replied to the person who sent me this link. It's interesting. It might not be funny to some people. Whatever. It's something different for most of the people I know who check out my blog. OK, well just so you know, the link will stream media. It's about 4 minutes long. So, all I really got to say now is enjoy? I guess. Later kids!
G R E N L, "Yatta"
Random Blurb: It's pretty catchy...weird, but catchy.
::Tip of the Week::
It's Friday once again. I really don't have any constructive tips for this week. I've been all caught up in my own little drama, which I really don't enjoy. So really, not much to say here. I guess the only thing that I really have to say that's close to a tip is make sure to keep inventory on who is in your life. Don't hesitate to point out changes in people's behavior and their contradictions. Be forthcoming about all your feelings for people. Basically, just be honest with other people and yourself. I know it's not much of a tip, there may be a few fortunate people that this won't even apply to. OK, now I'm just kind of drifting from my point now. Point is: don't be afraid to change, and don't be afraid when the people in your life change. When your relationship with another person morphs, the only thing to do is reevalute. Try to keep the positive people around, and when people get weird on you let them know you feel weird. If it works out it works out, if not then no sweat. Don't beat yourself up over it if you've truly tried to make things between you work. That's true no matter what you and the other person in the relationship go through. If you've tried to make things positive again, then that's all you can really do. It's hard to accept sometimes, given how you feel about certain people. I've been having a hard time dealing with this kind of stuff because it's happened all at once it seems. Maybe that's another reason why I've been feeling so run down. I mean no matter how much I try to be positive and upbeat, it hurts on the inside. Only a few people really know that's how I've been feeling lately, and that's only because I place so much trust into them. Thanks you guys, you know who you all are. Love ya lots! I know I don't act like it sometimes, but I do. Well, enough of me going on and on. Have a good night. Peace and adobo grease.
Random Blurb: Who can I run to, to fill this empty space? Who can I run to, when I need love? Maybe that old Xscape song will be my next song of the week.
::Close Enough to Wednesday so Here's the Song of the Week!::
I really like this song. It rocks hard. I like the White Stripes. They're super duper awesome opossums. OK, enough of that rhyming stuff. Dig on these vibes!

::I'm Just a Girl::
OK, well finding this weeks song was easy. My mom has been on my case about not being girly enough so I think this song fits
PERFECTLY. So take that!
JUST A GIRL (G. Stefani, T. Dumont):
Take this pink ribbon off my eyes
I'm exposed
And it's no big surprise
Don't you think I know
Exactly where I stand
This world is forcing me
To hold your hand
'Cause I'm just a girl, little ol' me
Don't let me out of your sight
I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite
So don't let me have any rights
Oh... I've had it up to here!
The moment that I step outside
So many reasons
For me to run and hide
I can't do the little things
I hold so dear
'Cause it's all those little things
That I fear
'Cause I'm just a girl,
I'd rather not be
'Cause they won't let me drive
Late at night
I'm just a girl,
Guess I'm some kind of freak
'Cause they all sit and stare
With their eyes
I'm just a girl,
Take a good look at me
Just your typical prototype
Oh... I've had it up to here!
Oh... am I making myself clear?
I'm just a girl
I'm just a girl in the world...
That's all that you'll let me be!
I'm just a girl, living in captivity
Your rule of thumb
Makes me worry some
I'm just a girl, what's my destiny?
What I've succumbed to
Is making me numb
I'm just a girl, my apologies
What I've become is so burdensome
I'm just a girl, lucky me
Twiddle-dum there's no comparison
Oh... I've had it up to!
Oh... I've had it up to!
Oh... I've had it up to here.
Oh damn, it's Friday too huh? OK this is a combo post. This week's tip is:
Crab ragoon and rice balls make on tasty combinationIf you're really curious, just ask me to make a batch sometime. I like to cook, in a way. But yeah...that's about all for now. Later kids!
Random Blurb: That's what I call a double whammy post.
::Procrastinatin' Like a Mofo...::
Hehe, I did it again. As you can see below, I said that I'd go look for the song I wanted to post. In reality I just ended falling asleep and I forgot about it. So, yeah...Brenna and Ross I hope you guys had fun at the Get Down!!! The b-boys and girls that showed get much props. Those were tight moves y'all. As for the emcee battle, I'm not going to venture into that territory. Let's just say if I want to see some emcees, I know where the right place to go. That happens to be the Hot Monkey Love Cafe every Tuesday, but since I've started working that day I haven't been able to catch it. So yeah, let me go find that song for real. I'll be back to post it and then we're all gravy baby. Awesome! Okie dokie artichokies!!! Be back in a bit.
::Green Eyed Monster::
Man, lately I have so many reasons to be jealous of certain people. I have two friends who get to go abroad. Charlene, I hope you have much fun while you're studying in Philippines. Jenn is going to Japan in September. She's been offered a job for a few months. What a
LUCKY DUCKY!!! I've always wanted to go to Japan. I'll be stuck here doing the same old routine I've always been doing. Go to work, go to school, sleep, act manic, and not necessarily in that order. If I was given the choice between getting my truck or going abroad I'd most definitely go abroad. The closest thing I've been to traveling is talking to the international students at school, which would be fine if I could really say it was comparable. I feel so denied! All good though, I do plan to do some traveling...IN 10 YEARS...hopefully a lot sooner. I don't know my peoples. I'm just feeling all cranky because I've been wanting to go to sleep since I got home like 2 hours ago or something, but of course I can't sleep. Dammit paxil kick in. Umm...oh yeah...it's Wednesday. I should look for a song to post huh? Yeah...maybe I'll do that right now then. I'll be back to like type more stuff...yeah. OK, sounds like a plan. Cool beans!
Random Blurb: Ooooh, I know what song I want to put...now to just find it...
::Funny for the Week::
For the Love of What?!?
In one of Oprah Winfrey's talk shows, a survey was conducted among her audience. Since the subject was about ghosts she started asking her audience these survey questions:
Oprah: How many of you have seen a ghost? Please stand up!
Amazingly, about 20 people stood up.
Oprah: Wow , isn't that really phenomenal? And now for the next question- For you guys standing up - how many of you have actually spoke to a ghost?
About five stayed standing up.
Oprah: (At this point, really getting tremendously excited!) Wow, imagine that? These people actually spoke to a ghost. And now for the last question, how many of you five guys have actually made love to a ghost?
Four guys sat down except one, at the last row of seats. The crowd exploded.
Oprah: May we call the gentleman to come to the stage please!
At this the cameras focused on an aging old man and guess what, a Filipino guy.
Oprah: Wow, that was unbelievable: Sir may we know who you are?
Top Gun: My name is Topacio Mamaril - Top Gun for short.
Oprah: What do you do and where are you from?
Top: I am a retired Navy man , am living in upstate New York and am a farmer by trade.
Oprah: Interesting! So, you really made love to a ghost?
Top: (somewhat irked) What ghost? I thought you said GOAT!
Random Blurb: Why do jokes about beastiality always end up so hilarious?
::Someone Got a Truck::
Bye Civic, Helloooooo TACO! Well yeah, that's short for Tacoma. Woohoo, I have the truck I've always wanted. *Jumps for Joy* It's really cool. I've spent about 6 years dreaming about getting myself a Tacoma and now I finally have fulfilled that dream. Right now I'm one happy, chubby, short girl. The only bad thing about it is, I struggle to get into it. HAHA...but I still like it...and it's all MINE. I have a car in my name at 19 and it feels really good. Top that off I'm establishing credit for myself, which is always a plus! Awesome freaking opossum. Well that's about all I have to say for now. I should really be working...but yeah...whatever...kind of. I'm in one of my very mixed emotions mood because I'm tired and I've been doing a lot of thinking about stuff. I'm very conflicted because I really want to be that independent person I've always wanted to be, but some things at home still make it very hard to visualize going off to do my own thing. BLAH and blah some more. OK, that's enough out of me. Laters!
Random Blurb: Emotions are taking me over...the original was way better than the Destiny's Child butcher of it.
::This Week's Tip...::
I have a tip for you guys who don't have a lot of time but still want really filling meals. I don't know if you guys watch the foodnetwork or not, but Rachel Ray's show is really good. If you're pressed for time all her meals are something you can do on your own and in half an hour. Pretty cool, right? I know that we all don't really have the time to fix a nice well balanced meal all the time, but she teaches tricks and gives tips on how to save time and still have food that's good and healthy. Go ahead and check out a few of her recipes at:
Rachel Ray's Recipe List
Or you guys can check out her show on foodnetwork, it's on at 2:30 ET. Which would be 11:30 PT for all my local peoples. Oh yeah! Before I forget, her show is called "30 Minute Meals". It's pretty gosh darned smooth. Well, that's about it for now. I hope everyone checks that out. Peace and fried chicken grease!
Random Blurb: Mmmm...doughnuts. (That was inspired by Homer Simpson...he kicks tail!!!)
::Check out the Kitty::
All right every body!!! There are new works up on the Kung Fu Kitten. Peep it out. If you guys have any feedback just give me a holler at my email. That's all I really have to say for now. Have a good night and I hope you all check out the other blog.
Random Blurb: Writing is a gateway into the minds and deepest desires of man.
::Finally, a Song...::
Hi, you know how I'm like lame and stuff guys? Well yeah you know that song I was supposed to post for last week? OK, well here it is...for reals this time. Haha...man I'm one lazy person. This version of the song has been shortened and stuff just because it's more convenient that way. All right, the moment that you may or may not have been waiting for has arrived. Here's the song:
Random Blurb: This song so reminds me of Las Vegas.
::HEY YOU GUYS!!!::
Yeah, that illusive blog that I was saying I'd put up is finally up and running. Right now there's only one contribution to the blog, I plan on adding some of my original works later on tonight or tomorrow morning. It doesn't look the way I want it to, but I've been working on that. Hopefully I'll be able to finish that soon. Haha, who am I kidding? I'm one of the biggest procrastinators around. I've been trying to stop those bad habits and before I go off onto another tangent, I'm basically trying to say that they're hard habits to break. All right, just go ahead and click a click on the link below. I'll add it to my links on the side in a little bit. OK...time to go...I'm still on the clock at work. Have a good day, and as always I do encourage feed back from you guys. E-mail me or shout me out. Thanks a lot!
Enter the Kitten
Random Blurb: I'm not a big cat person, I just think kittens and kung fu are one kick ass combination.
::Funny of the Week::
I'd like to thank my girl Ashley for sending me this joke. I fell over the first time I read it. I hope guys can get a good laugh out of this one.
Wal-Mart Urinalysis
One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Ernie says to Mike behind him, "My elbow hurts like hell. I guess I better see a doctor."
"Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money," Mike replies.
"There's a diagnostic computer down at Walmart. Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars...a hell of a lot cheaper than a doctor."
So Ernie deposits a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to Walmart. He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits. Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout: You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks.
That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Ernie began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a urine sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and masturbated into the mixture for good measure.
Ernie hurried back to Walmart, eager to check the results. He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and awaits the results. The computer prints the following:
1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener.
2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with antifungal shampoo.
3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab.
4. Your wife is pregnant...twin girls. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer.
5. If you don't stop playing with yourself, your elbow will never get better.
Well folks that about all I have for now. I hope you got a little kick out of that. My other blog is in the works, so again I'm putting out a request that you guys get bold enough to share some of your original writings. You can submit it under a pseudonym if you want. I just ask that it is 100%
ORIGINAL. I don't want it if it wasn't written by the person making a submission. All right, I hope to hear from some more of you guys soon. Take it easy!
Random Blurb: I wonder how depressing the world would be without laughter?
::Tip of the Week::
I have a tip for people out there who are low on cash but still want to get their usual dose of culture. For those of you who live in San Diego, I just want to inform you all about Free Tuesdays at Balboa Park. Every Tuesday, there are museums that you can go to worry free of charge. I suggest that you guys go ahead and take a look at the Balboa Park website to go ahead and peep that information. Here's the link:
Balboa Park's Free Tuesdays Listing
For everyone else out there, I'm sure that your local museums have their own websites where you can go ahead and look for information about if and when they have days that are admission free. I suggest that everyone tries to look up free cultural events in their own hometowns and cities. The more knowledge and culture you look for, the more you'll be able to broaden your horizons. That's always a good thing! That's it for now. I hope you all get your culture on! = )
Random Blurb: Museums are awesome. Free concerts at the Organ Pavillion rock.
::Song of the Week::
This week's song was inspired by Disney and Pixar's latest animated great, "Finding Nemo". I really like this song, but the version on the movie was sung by Robbie Williams. The version I actually found is by the Ray Coniff Singers. Not that it matters, the only difference is in who sang it. I hope you all enjoy!
Beyond the Sea
Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailing
Somewhere beyond the sea
He's watching for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to his arms I'd go sailing
It's far beyond a star, it's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailing
umm....haha....i did it again. i got the robbie williams mp3 from minh. i'll fix it...just not right now...haha sorry guys!
Random Blurb: Go watch "Finding Nemo"! Go NOW!!!
::Lazy Bum-Bum::
Ok, I said that I'd keep up w/my weekly stuff. HAHAHA...obviously I must've been on a good one. I thought I could do it, but right now I'll just have to play catch up when I have some free time to think
only about my blog. I have received some input for my other blog...Woohoo. I still need to work on that one too. OK...well work is going to be crazy for a couple of days. We're doing the KPBS pledge drive. Well I should really go. I'll try to catch up with my blog either after work tonight or before work tomorrow morning. All right peoples, that's it from me for now. Take care!
Random Blurb: Whatta bum...(Yeah, I know I am)

::I'm all ConfuSSed::
Man, there's just been a lot of bad craziness going on lately. At the same time, there's some good wacky stuff going on too. Lately I've heard about several people passing away. It just sucks. There's been way too much of that going on. Some people have gone because of illness, others because of the lifestyles they lead. I'm pretty much getting jaded by it all. This is another time in my life where no one seems to be able to stick around. I'm really confused because you think you have a handle on what's been thrown at you, and even before you can get closure with that, you get thrown back into a loop. I thought I was pretty sure about who I am, but now I'm feeling a little vulnerable and unsure. I know that many people would never be able to tell that's how I feel, and it's not that I'm ashamed and trying to put a veil over it. I just don't know how to really deal so I just push all that out of my head, until I get time to think, like now. I really need to sit and sort my feelings and thoughts out again. I want to better be able to articulate what I'm trying to get at, but right now everything seems to escape me. Thanks for reading my rambling, who ever's out there. Good night, I'm so knocking out as soon as I get home from work.
Random Blurb: Life is a crazy trip, the best you can hope for is for the smoothest ride in a stretch of nothing but potholes.
