::Grandmama...Don't Like You, DumbASS!::
I was very happy to hear that my beloved Lola Paz will be paying our family a visit again. She should be in town within the next few days, Tuesday at latest, well at least from the information passed along to me. I can't wait! She's always been my favorite person for so many reasons. I have a tremendous amount of admiration and respect for this woman. Through all the years of the horrendous and the immaculate, she has been a constant in my life. Everytime I talk about her, I just can't even begin to tell people how wonderful she is. The vibe she emits is full of positivity and love. She's a happy go lucky kinda gal, always smiling. It's great to laugh and joke with her. Generousity should be her middle name, she's so giving and thoughtful. When she cooks there's always way more than the family can eat because she says, "It's always good to have extra, it gives us an excuse to share our blessings". She's nothing short of amazing!!! If I could be even a fraction of the woman she is, I'd be in really good shape! I'd love to age as gracefully as she has, and obtain but more importantly maintain the outlook she has on life. I wish everyone could meet my grandma Paz. I guarantee after meeting her, you'll find that you're left with a huge, beaming, grin.
Oh, but I have something else to blog about. It's kind of interesting. I know I told some of you about this already, but allow me to reiterate how stupid some guys can be. There's this guy who started working with our company like in beginning or mid January. I actually have known this guy since high school, but we never got any further than being mere aquaintances. So let me take you back a few years:It was the summer before my junior year, the summer of 1999. I was in Link Crew, which is the school organization that handles student orientation for the new freshmen and sophomores. What we did was take small groups that were assigned to us on a tour of the school, play some ice breaker type games, and let them know that they have a seasoned veteran on their side. So OK, my partners and I were grouped with this guy, we'll call Darren, and his partner. I found out that since we met, Darren kinda developed a thing for me. Not that anything would ever happen between us. Not to be mean, but at that time and up until last November I was with my ex-boyfriend. So after the relationship with my ex came to it's conclusion I seriously thought I was done with guys for the time being. However, I promised myself to not let opportunity pass me by (even though at one point I was willing to). Opportunity came knocking at my door a lot sooner than I anticipated. Over the couple of months since my ex and I split, I've been blessed to become part of a very loving and nuturing relationship. Now it's time again to fast forward to more recent happenings:So, Darren starts working at our company. Of course we recognize each other and what not. We start chit chattin' and all that. He asked me if I was with my ex, and I told him no. They he was like, "Oh so you're single now?" Again, I said no. He seemed a little disappointed, and I felt bad for the guy because he looked a little hurt. I brushed it off though, I figured it wasn't a big deal because it's not like we saw each other on a regular basis before hand you know? I mean the last time I saw him before he joined the company was 2 years ago or something. So since then, he's been doing this sweet and sour routine. He'll be all nice to be sometimes, act super considerate. Darren takes his lunch before I do so a couple of times he's offered to bring me something. He'll ask me how I'm doing. One time he even asked, "How's it going, sexy?" I'll admit, I found that flattering. Then he'll totally turn around and find mean things to say to me. He'll bag on me for looking like I'm not working because I don't get call volume while on Secure Alert. He's called me a "typpie" just because I have this blog and I have a myspace.com account. So what the fluff? Don't give me that bullshit! It's not my fault you couldn't get a piece of this. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong fucking attitude. Besides, I'm spoken for. I wouldn't change that for anything in the world. So...SUCK MY ASS!!! Mwahaha...*thunder echoes in background*
