::Another Semester::

OK, let me start off by admitting that I am a LIAR. I don't have pictures to post and that is just too bad for those of you who were waiting for them. So, hmm. I feel obligated to blog because I know that this is one of the few ways for certain people to know what I'm up to...and blog I shall.

I'm very excited because I will be attending this year's Street Scene. The line up looks absolutely awesome! My little sister is kind of disappointed that I won't be going to our annual block party. But hey, there's always going to be another block party. No regrets! Hmm...I'll be hanging out with my younger siblings for a good amount of time this week. Since my sweetie pie will have a week's head start on this semester, I will be adjusting to the drastic cut in together time. My schedule looks a little crazy, but I'm sure it will be rewarding come finals. I have a whole semester to make up for, so busting my butt is a personal must.

It's been nice to hear from old friends again! I've been fortunate enough to reconnect with some people I haven't seen in a while. It's been quite nice, even if it's only through myspace.com. I must say again, it was nice to see family this summer. All in all, I'm just thankful for the opportunity to have a real break. It's been refreshing, and now I feel mentally prepared to get back to business. I haven't felt this good about going back to school since the 5th grade, and I'm looking forward to challenging myself. I'm really looking at this semester as a new beginning as a stronger and more capable person. I have never felt this confident in myself and it's thanks to all the love, inspiration, and compassion I've received from all those who surround me. So in the words of Spongebob Squarepants, "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready-eady-eady!"
